The terms and conditions of use of this web site relate to bookings made at hotels owned and/or operated within the UK by Jarvis Hotels Ltd. including Ramada Jarvis and Jarvis Hotels.
Please read this document carefully before making a booking.
Bookings
All offers of accommodation and other services featured on the Jarvis Hotels Ltd. website are subject to availability and there is a limited allocation of rooms available to all offers. The right is reserved to decline bookings. You cannot combine any special offer, rate or promotion on this web site with any other special offer, rate or promotion offered by Jarvis Hotels Ltd. No two special offers can be combined on the same booking.
Prices
The prices featured are per room per night. These prices include accommodation in the room type as described all meals as specified, service and VAT (at the current rate). Generally there are no single occupancy supplements at weekends however they will usually apply Monday to Thursday. Minimum length of stay restrictions may apply to certain rates, as specified.
Children
Up to two children under the age of 16 can enjoy free accommodation when sharing a room with paying adult/s (offer subject to availability of suitable rooms), paying only for meals as taken.
There is a limited number of suitable family rooms available in the hotels and children staying in their own room pay the full adult room price. Some hotels may not be able to accommodate a family of four in one room and an upgrade may be required at a supplement.
For children sharing with their parents breakfast is free for children under 10 years, half the adult price for children 10 - 16 years.
3-course Dinner
If you include a pre-booked dinner with your booking, you will save £5 per person per meal. The £5 dinner saving applies to the 3-course Table d'hote menu (if you choose to dine A la Carte a £20 or £22 per person allowance will be made. Full dinner price will be £20 or £22 depending on your hotel choice.
Payment
Jarvis Hotels Ltd. accepts the following methods of Payment : Credit Cards : Mastercard, Visa, Diners and American Express. - Debit Cards: Visa/Delta, Solo and Maestro.
Pre payment is taken at the time of booking and charged to your credit card or debit card when any promotional and non flexible rates are booked and is non refundable and non transferable. Credit card details are only taken as a booking guarantee for fully flexible rates as specified, unless where detailed in the booking detail page. Payment is due upon arrival at the hotel for all non pre-paid bookings. For debit cards, full payment will be taken from your card at the time of booking for fully flexible rates. If you subsequently cancel your fully flexible rate booking within the terms of the cancellation conditions, your debit card will be refunded accordingly.
In order to safeguard both yourself and Jarvis Hotels from credit card fraud, the Card used to book this reservation will need to be presented upon check-in.
As a fully serviced hotel, our customers are able to enjoy a wide range of facilities and will therefore be asked to provide a credit card upon check-in, to act as a guarantee against any additional services taken.
Pre-Payment / Cancellation/ Non-Arrival Charges
If for any reason you find it necessary to cancel your booking then please contact our Reservation Centre on +44 (0) 1494 436 256, or you can contact the hotel directly.
In the event of cancellation or non-arrival the following rules apply in accordance with the type of rate as detailed below:
Fully Flexible Rates - Your credit card has been used to guarantee your booking. Your booking can be cancelled up to 2pm on the day of arrival, thereafter 100% of the first night stay will be charged to your credit/debit card.
Saver Rate - 2 nights minimum - Full payment for your stay will be taken within 24 hours of the booking being made. No amendments can be made to your booking. In the event of non-arrival or cancellation of booking made, no refund will be applicable.
Saver Rate - 14 day advance - Full payment for your stay will be taken within 24 hours of the booking being made. No amendments can be made to your booking. In the event of non-arrival or cancellation of booking made, no refund will be applicable.
Other Rates / Offers - Full payment for your stay will be taken within 24 hours of the booking being made. No amendments can be made to your booking. In the event of non-arrival or cancellation of booking made, no refund will be applicable.
Associate Hotels (Haydock, Barnsley, Birmingham NEC, Crewe and Cannock) - Your credit card has been used to guarantee your booking. Your booking can be cancelled up to 2pm on the day of arrival, thereafter 100% of the first night stay will be charged to your credit/debit card.
Promotions / Offers - Full payment for your stay will be taken within 24 hours of the booking being made. No amendments can be made to your booking. In the event of non-arrival or cancellation of booking made, no refund will be applicable.
SME Card Promotion
The SME Card promotion entitles the user to 10% off the best flexible rate of the day. Promotion expires 31st March 2010.
Arrival and DepartureYour bedroom will usually be available from 2pm on your specified day of arrival. On your day of departure we would ask that you vacate your room by 12 noon (unless stated as part of your booking e.g. Fully Inclusive Breaks - Sunday 6pm departure) otherwise you may be subject to a charge for an additional night's stay.
Leisure
If you are staying in a hotel with a leisure club then this entitles you to membership of that club throughout your stay. A condition of using the facilities is that you must comply with club rules, a copy of which is available from the club reception. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times and cannot use the facilities after 6pm except on a Friday, Saturday and Sunday when they can use the pool until 8pm. For a health and safety reasons children under 16 are not permitted to use the gymnasium and children under 12 are not able to use the sauna, spa bath or steam room. At time certain facilities may become unavailable due to maintenance, adverse weather or other reasons out of our control. We will attempt to keep you fully informed of these however this may not always be possible. If any facility is a significant reason for your choice of hotel, you are advised to check in advance. Please note that there may be a small local charge for the use of some facilities.
Hotel Events
Please be aware that at certain times throughout the year some of our hotels may host weddings, events and parties, which you may feel, would be an intrusion on your break. Please contact the individual hotel for further information.
Insurance
We strongly advise you to take out insurance to cover the cost of cancellation and other risks including personal accident and personal public liability.
Parking
Many of the hotels have their own car park, which is usually FREE (while resident). Some hotels do however make a charge and/or may have limited spaces available. Please check individual hotel page or contact the hotel for details.
If you have a problem
In the unlikely event that you have a problem during your stay you must bring it to the attention of the management at the time, to ensure that we have an opportunity to rectify it. If you are not satisfied that the issue has been resolved, please submit the details in writing within 28 days of your return, to: Customer Relations Department, Jarvis Hotels Ltd., Castle House, Desborough Road, High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, HP11 2PR.
Your Security
In certain circumstances the Package Travel, Package Holiday and Package Tour Regulations 1992 may cover your holiday. If this is the case and your holiday or any part of it is prevented from taking place, by reason of the insolvency of Jarvis Hotels Ltd. you will be entitled to a refund of monies (or an appropriate amount of those monies) paid by you in accordance with security payments Jarvis Hotels Ltd. have made for your protection.
